Have you heard of Bobaholic? They make Boba teas.

What are Boba teas? Boba tea is made of tea, milk, water, sugar and tapioca pearls. Iced sweet milky tea is given a good cocktail-style shake, after which tapioca pearls are added. Typical versions use black, green or oolong tea, although recently more flavors and types have appeared. Boba tea originated from Taiwan.

Bobaholic will be selling boba tea at Thriftapalooza!

We also got clearance from the health department so that you can bring your own favorite cups! Cups should be larger than 20oz and clean.

Buy your tickets to Thriftapalooza so that you can get your boba tea from Bobaholic!

Local Non-Profits

Did you know that we will be having local non-profits in our pre-exhibit space? This is not part of our 185+ vendors in the main expo. These are just little extra nuggets from our community to bring awareness to what they’re doing to promote sustainability!

Please be nice to them as they are unpaid volunteers. Stop by and say hello!

We’re accepting applications for fall!

Our fall event will be on November 5 & 6, 2022 at the Tacoma Convention Center!

You spoke, and we listened. You asked for a larger space, so we will have 50,000 square feet of treasure hunting, shopping, thrifting, local handmade gifts and treats. We are still accepting applications so please apply! You can apply here: https://thriftapalooza.org/vendor/

We will also be serving beer! Well not us, but the facility. Feel free to hang out and now, you can drag your partner along and they will be somewhat entertained. If not entertained, at least they’ll be hydrated.

Thriftapalooza is in less than 2 weeks. We have decided to start a podcast to discuss everything involved in setting up this event. In this episode, we talk about the origin and some of the current challenges that we are facing. We have curated the largest garage sale event in your community packed with everyday sellers and some of our favorite local vendors! If you haven’t bought tickets yet, you can buy them here: Buy tickets!

Come find treasure while reducing waste at the same time!

Remember to bring a tote or wagon to carry your goodies out. We are also working on a Sunday Sale with our sellers. Stay tuned for more details.
